Allegiant is seeking a Windows Engineering & Virtualization Manager in Las Vegas, NV, to lead IT personnel and manage department resources. Your role involves ensuring the operational uptime of critical systems, overseeing various engineering projects, and interacting with third-party vendors.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, extensive experience with VMware and Cisco UCS, and excellent management skills. The salary range is between $120,900 and $150,900 annually.
This leadership position works closely with Stations Support, the NOC, Software Development, DevOps, Linux Engineering, Quality Assurance, Information Assurance, Information Security, Database Administration, Network Engineering, and Project Management teams in order to maintain and enhance our existing processes. Candidates should have prior experience working in a large, fast-paced, enterprise environment working with multi-disciplinary teams.

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent work experience.
Years of Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an IT management position. Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Windows, VMware, Cisco UCS, and SAN systems design and implementation in large enterprise environments.

Office/IT - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24 hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
