Job summary

Mead Lumber in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Window and Door Installer to professionally install, replace, and maintain windows and doors at residential and commercial sites. You will measure openings, prepare for installation, and ensure finishes prevent air and water intrusion.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service, with responsibilities including site preparation, tool use, and documentation. ESOP participation is provided along with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience with window/door installation or related construction work required.
Knowledge of measuring, fitting, sealing, and installation techniques.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

Install, replace, and maintain windows and doors to company standards and safety procedures.
Accurately measure openings and prepare for installation.
Remove old units and prep sites for new installations.
Seal, insulate, and finish installations to prevent air and water infiltration.
Operate hand and power tools safely to complete installations.
Inspect work for accuracy and quality; troubleshoot issues as needed.
Communicate with customers, contractors, and team members during the process.
Maintain a safe, clean work area and document installation details.
