Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is the team selected by the U.S. Air Force to conduct Test and Operations Sustainment at the Arnold Engineering and Development Complex (AEDC) at Arnold Air Force Base in Tennessee.

AEDC operates more than 55 aerodynamic and propulsion wind tunnels, rocket and turbine engine test cells, space environmental chambers, arc heaters, ballistic ranges and other specialized units located in six states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field.
• 1 year of progressively relevant experience (M06) or 2 years (M07).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Desktop & End-User Support: Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software; resolve Helpdesk tickets and provide training.
• Imaging & Deployment: Create and deploy Windows 11 client images across the Base.
• Software & Office 365 Administration: Maintain and support Office 365 and related software.
• Security & STIGs: Implement security configurations and patching per STIGs/DoD policies.
• Cybersecurity Compliance: Ensure IT systems meet Air Force cybersecurity requirements; coordinate with ISSM.
• Process & Technology Improvement: Stay updated on emerging IT technologies and best practices.
• Operational Availability: Remain available outside normal hours to remediate critical IT issues.
• Safety: Wear PPE as directed by supervision.
