Capgemini Engineering is We are seeking a skilled Windows Administrator and Lab Manager to oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of our Windows-based systems and virtual environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows OS deployment, virtual machine management, and advanced administrative tools such as PowerShell and Group Policy and Exposure to FIPS-140 certification would be advantageous


Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the lab environment, ensuring all systems are operational and up to date.
  • Set up and configure virtual machines (VMs) to support development, testing, and training activities.
  • Deploy Windows operating systems on physical PCs, ensuring consistent and efficient installations.
  • Capture and customize Windows installation images for streamlined deployment across multiple devices.
  • Perform advanced Windows administration tasks, including configuring group policies, scripting with PowerShell, and automating routine processes


Your Skills

  • Bachelor’s / master’s degree in computer engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3 years + extensive experience in Windows administration, including configuring group and security policies. Proficient in setting up Windows operating systems across a wide range of devices. Skilled in virtual machine (VM) setup and configuration for development and testing environments.
  • Strong command of PowerShell scripting for automation and administrative tasks. Comfortable working within Microsoft Windows environments, with the ability to resolve hardware and software compatibility issues.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to isolate and troubleshoot faults effectively. Proven experience coordinating with Windows feature teams to support system enhancements and issue resolution.
  • Collaborative team player with outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Prior experience working with Microsoft Security Team, contributing to secure system configurations and practices

The base salary range for the tagged location is [$54,300 - $119,490 /yr].This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full-time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
