Job summary

The Shade Store is seeking a Window Treatment Installer in Orlando, FL. This role focuses on in-home measurements and installations of roller/solar shades, Roman shades, drapery, and blinds, with an emphasis on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

You will learn motorization installation, collaborate with Design Consultants, and ensure a seamless end-to-end window treatment experience for customers.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Experience in carpentry, custom installation or a transferable skilled trade.
• Experience with common hand and power tools including drill, impact driver and level.
• Ability to measure within 1/8 with manual and laser measurers.
• Active driver’s license and insurable.
• Ability to lift at least 55 pounds and climb ladders up to 26 feet.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home measurements and installations of our window treatment product lines; mainly roller/solar shades, Roman shades, and drapery, plus blinds.
• Learn motorization installation and programming techniques, especially with Lutron for complex motorized products.
• Provide customers with a world-class experience during measures and installs.
• Leave a positive lasting impression by showing how to use the product before leaving the site.
• Use The Shade Store’s Measure + Install techniques to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with local Design Consultants to ensure a seamless end-to-end experience.
• Coordinate with Headquarters Measure & Install support teams while on-site.
