Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart Inc. seeks a Window Treatment Designer to help customers plan and design their window treatments while delivering outstanding service to close sales.

You will work with clients to translate needs into quotes, drawings and product specs, measure spaces, and collaborate with care teams to ensure timely, high-quality installations.

This role requires a flexible schedule including nights and weekends to accommodate store hours and events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3-5 years of retail sales experience.
• Product knowledge required.
• Window treatment background with measurement skills.
• Interior Design, Architecture or Art degree preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and/or early mornings.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Pre-employment screening including criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, identify and resolve service issues quickly and efficiently; partner with customer care teams.
• Compile lists of prospective clients for sales leads from multiple sources.
• Plan, present quotes, drawings, and product specifications to clients for approval; procure client signoffs prior to creating orders.
• Assist displays or demonstrate products using samples or catalogs.
