Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) in Cedar Park, TX, is seeking a Window Treatment Designer to help customers plan and design their window treatments while delivering top‑notch service to close sales.

You will measure spaces, present quotes and specs, collaborate with displays, and support clients from initial consultation to order completion. A background in retail sales and knowledge of window treatments is preferred, with opportunities for growth in our NFM team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail sales experience
• Window treatment background with ability to measure
• Product knowledge required
• Interior Design, Architecture or Art degree preferred
• Availability for night, weekend and/or early morning shifts based on business needs
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Pre-employment screening including background check

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve service issues quickly in collaboration with customer care teams
• Compile lists of prospective clients for sales leads from various sources
• Present quotes, drawings, and product specifications to clients for approval; obtain client signoffs before orders
• Assist displays or demonstrate products, presenting features and benefits of NFM items

Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle

As NFM's Window Treatment Designer, you will assist NFM customers in planning and designing their window treatments, while providing the highest level of service and follow-up to close sales.

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

• Monitor Identify and resolve service issues quickly and efficiently. Partner with customer care teams whenever necessary to ensure prompt and thorough problem resolution
• Manage Compiles lists of prospective clients for use as sales leads, based on information from other NFM departments, newspapers, business directories, ads, trade shows, internet, other
• Plan Present quotes, drawings, and product specifications to clients for approval. Procure client signoffs prior to creating orders
• Assist Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalogs, presents features and benefits of product and NFM
