Job summary

Avanti is seeking a vigilant installation technician to install window and door products in newly built homes in Tucson, AZ. You will follow designated install methods, maintain safety standards, and communicate clearly with homeowners and crew members.

The role requires 1–2 years in customer service, a clean driving record, and a willingness to learn the AIM method. Expect teamwork, physical tasks (up to 20 ft ladder), and regular start times at 6 AM, Monday–Friday, with possible Saturday

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service or customer interaction experience preferred.
• Prior knowledge of general construction or window/door applications is desirable but not required.
• Must tolerate outdoor elements.
• Clean driving record and MVR is a premium.
• Willingness to learn AIM method and receive on‑the‑job training from day one.

Responsibilities

• Install Avanti window and door products into newly constructed homes.
• Follow safety rules and OSHA fall protection procedures.
• Start times are 6 AM, Monday to Friday; occasional Saturdays may be required.
• Communicate with homeowners and colleagues; set proper expectations.
• Learn and apply the Avanti Install Method (AIM) and company policies.
• Ladder work up to 20 feet; handle hand and power tools.
• Work as part of a team and support fellow crew members.

Job description

• Professionally communicating with homeowners and other Avanti colleagues
• Follow rules related to vehicles and safety
• Start times are promptly at 6 AM, M-F
• Occasional Saturday availability may be required
• Installing Avanti window & door products into newly constructed homes
• Properly executing designated flashing and install methods for vinyl windows & doors
• Learning The Avanti Install Method (AIM)
• Helping and supporting team members
• Always following company safety guidelines
• Ability to communicate with customers and set proper expectations
• Ability to follow and enforce company policy and procedures

Skills/Knowledge:

• Speak and write in English
• 36-month minimum, clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Service Tech are Required to Drive Company Vehicle
• Use of hand-tolls and power tools required
• Attention to detail is required
• Regularly carry up to 80 pounds; team lift when required
• Have a positive attitude
• Okay working from a ladder up to 20’ height
• Basic math knowledge

Communication Skills:

Proficient verbal and written English language skills are required as well as good public relations and customer service skills.Ability to read, interpret, understand and explain documents such as product specifications or warranty manuals. Ability to effectively present information to others, gather information from others, and respond appropriately to questions from customers, coworkers and managers. Must display excellent phone and email etiquette. Must be able to present an appropriate attitude for the situation when interacting with customers or coworkers.
