Job summary

84 Lumber is seeking a Window Service Technician in North Carolina to install and maintain windows at construction sites. The role is full-time, hourly, and involves physical duties such as lifting up to 80 pounds and coordinating with the warehouse team.

The position requires reading and following instructions, basic reporting, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Comprehensive benefits are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and documents; write short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds periodically.
• Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables and standardized situations.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain windows and screens at construction sites.
• Balance windows and replace glass and/or sashes.
• Clean windows after installation and testing.
• Write routine reports and correspondence for a small group.
• Stock inventory and assist with loading/unloading at the warehouse.
