Job summary

84 Lumber Company is hiring a Window Service Technician to install and maintain windows at construction sites. This full-time, hourly role involves installing and balancing windows, replacing glass and sashes, and cleaning work areas.

The position requires reading comprehension, the ability to lift up to 80 pounds, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Prior warehousing duties may be involved.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and documents, write short correspondence and memos, and present information one-on-one
• Ability to periodically lifting up to 80 pounds
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables and standardized situations.
• High school diploma or GED; or related experience and/or training
• Requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• The Window Service Technician installs and maintains windows at construction sites
• Balance windows and replace glass and sashes
• Perform window cleaning after install
• Write routine reports and correspondence for a small group
• Stock inventory and assist with loading/unloading of trailers
