Job summary

84 Lumber, a family-owned supplier of building materials, is seeking a Window Service Technician in the Charlotte area. This full-time, hourly role installs and maintains windows at construction sites, handles screen installation, balancing, glass/sash replacement, and performs routine reports.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 80 pounds, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and documents.
• Ability to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to solve problems involving a few concrete variables.

Responsibilities

• Install and perform maintenance on windows at construction sites.
• Screen installation and balancing windows.
• Replace glass and/or sashes and clean windows after install.
• Write routine reports and maintain records for a small group.
• Stock inventory and assist with loading/unloading semi-trailers.
