Job summary

Lindsay Windows is seeking a Production Technician for our production area in Washington, DC. You will use hand tools and a tape measure to assemble window components, lift and move parts, and help meet production goals while adhering to safety standards.

You will be responsible for self-inspection of parts and maintaining a safe, collaborative team environment. A positive attitude and ability to read and communicate in English are required.

Qualifications

• Read and communicate in English
• Stand for entire shift
• Lift and transfer 35 lbs frequently
• Lift and transfer 50 lbs occasionally
• Reach overhead occasionally
• Bend at the waist and pivot frequently
• Work in a team environment and with good people

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and a tape measure to assemble/components
• Lift/move/place window components weighing 35–55 lbs
• Meet production goals by following line standards
• Self-inspect 100% of parts at the workstation
• Follow safety procedures and promote a safe work environment for all team members
