Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Rocky Mount, VA is seeking a Production Associate to fabricate and assemble window components. The role involves physical work, lifting, and operating tools in a fast-paced setting.

You will read instructions, follow work orders, and may train new employees as needed. Shifts include 1st and 3rd with pay of $16.00/hour plus $1.50/hour shift differential for the 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and produce component parts for the final assembly of windows.
• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• May support window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials or windows.
• Use hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers.
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules; follow verbal and written instructions.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
