Position: Window & Door Service Technician - Full Time

Location: Long Island, NY or Connecticut Region

We are currently looking to expand our team with a skilled Window & Door Service Specialist to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform residential window and door repairs and installations, ensuring precision and quality at every stage.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure all repairs, and installations meet industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring satisfaction from start to finish.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including some Saturdays, nights, and weekends

Physical Requirements:

  • Must have experience with various tools such as, but not limited to: screw guns; chop saws and other tools as required.
  • May require periods of standing, kneeling, walking and bending.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move materials as heavy as 75 lbs. individually and/or units exceeding 75 lbs. via “Team-Lift” operation.
  • May include working from ladders or other complex locations for periods of time.
  • Many times, work is performed outdoors, in various weather conditions

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in window and door installation, with a strong understanding of residential construction.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Proficient at using an iPad, phone, and computer to enter customer information in database, read and respond to emails, and enter or edit online order as required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Required Education And Experience:

  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Knowledge of windows, doors, and skylights and their respective qualities
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and carry required level of automobile insurance
