You will collaborate with production, sales, and logistics teams to align material needs with lead times and budget constraints, while maintaining supplier relationships and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in construction, building materials, or a related field.
• Knowledge of windows, garage doors, and associated materials is a plus.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Ability to analyze costs, trends, and supplier performance.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Production Team to ensure we have enough stock material week to week.
• Place, track, match, and approve purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure deposits or financing secured prior to placing orders and follow-up as needed.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for deliveries.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new opportunities.
• Evaluate supplier performance and address quality or delivery issues.
• Monitor buying power and adjust purchasing to stay within budget.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and installation teams to understand material needs.
• Provide recommendations on product selection and sourcing when needed.
• Provide general administrative support to the department as workload allows.
