Job summary

Pella Mid-Atlantic, a leading window and door distributor, is hiring a Punch Out Technician to perform final service, adjustments, and minor repairs on installed products. You will work in occupied homes and light commercial settings with attention to detail and safety.

Prior window/door experience is preferred, with strong reading and communication skills. Ideal candidates have mechanical troubleshooting ability, clean driving records, and the stamina to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing or installing windows and doors (Pella experience preferred).
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read service orders, installation guides, and technical documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Professional appearance and customer-service mindset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform punch-out and final service work on Pella windows and doors after installation.
• Diagnose and correct issues such as window/door alignment, sash and panel adjustments, hardware, weatherstripping, or minor glass repairs.
• Identify warranty vs. non-warranty issues and document findings accurately.
• Communicate with homeowners, builders, and site supervisors regarding work performed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in occupied spaces and complete service tickets promptly.
• Coordinate with service managers or dispatch for scheduling and parts needs.
