Window Nation is hiring experienced Window & Door Installers to join our Long Island team. This is a full-time W-2 employee position with competitive hourly pay, comprehensive benefits, year-round work, and a structured wage progression program.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of window and door installation experience.
• 3+ years of experience with flashing, shimming, insulation, caulking, and weatherproofing.
• Working knowledge of residential construction and basic carpentry.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, measurements, manufacturer instructions, and installation specifications.
• Ability to use a tape measure, level, square, and common installation tools.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, repair, and service residential windows and doors.
• Measure openings and verify dimensions before installation.
• Flash, shim, insulate, seal, and finish installations.
• Perform minor carpentry and trim work as needed.
• Protect customer property and maintain a clean, safe job site.
• Inspect completed work for quality and operation.
• Document completed work using a smartphone or tablet.
• Perform service and warranty repairs as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, repair, and service residential windows and doors
• Measure openings and verify dimensions before installation
• Properly flash, shim, insulate, seal, and finish installations
• Perform minor carpentry and trim work as needed
• Protect customer property and maintain a clean, safe job site
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and proper operation
• Document completed work using a smartphone or tablet
• Perform service and warranty repairs as assigned

Qualifications

• 3+ years of window and door installation experience
• 3+ years of experience with flashing, shimming, insulation, caulking, and weatherproofing

Working knowledge of residential construction and basic carpentry

Ability to read and follow work orders, measurements, manufacturer instructions, and installation specifications

Ability to accurately use a tape measure, level, square, and common installation tools

Ability to recognize installation defects, unsafe conditions, and structural concerns

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Ability to use a smartphone or tablet for job documentation and communication

Additional Skills

• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and customer-service skills
• Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills
• EPA Lead-Safe Certified Renovator, or ability to obtain and maintain other applicable lead-safe, installation, or safety certifications
• Ability to work a variable schedule, including overtime or occasional weekends when needed

Physical Requirements

• Perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including: frequent lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Safely lift up to 50 pounds independently
• Maneuver heavier windows, doors, and materials (up to 100 pounds) with assistance or approved lifting equipment
• Work around construction dust, debris, noise, vibration, sharp materials, adhesives, and insulation
• Wear company-required personal protective equipment
