Job summary

Mead Lumber is seeking an Installation Supervisor to lead the installation team, coordinate schedules, ensure quality workmanship, and resolve on-site issues. The role emphasizes safe, efficient installations, employee guidance, and adherence to company standards and customer expectations.

You will oversee training, provide coaching, and foster teamwork while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of installation, construction, or related field experience.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to schedule and coordinate projects effectively.
• Ability to work in moderate to noisy environments.
• Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Job Summary: The Installation Supervisor supports daily installation operations by leading the installation team, coordinating schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, and resolving on-site issues. This role promotes safe, efficient installations, provides employee guidance and training, and ensures company standards and customer expectations are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside the installation team to complete projects efficiently and safely.

• Respond promptly to customer needs and ensure all commitments are met.
• Resolve on-site issues professionally and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.

Scheduling & Coordination

• Schedule projects and coordinate installation timelines to meet deadlines.
• Communicate schedule changes effectively and adjust plans as necessary.
• Ensure proper coverage of responsibilities during team member absences.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor work quality to ensure accuracy, consistency, and thoroughness.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, products, and services.
• Promote efficiency and continuous improvement across all installation activities.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, And Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in installation, construction, or a related field.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with the ability to resolve on-site issues effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to schedule and coordinate projects effectively.

• Ability to work in moderate to noisy environments.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
