Job summary

Nidec seeks motivated individuals to join our production staff in the United States. Starting rates are $21.83/hr with a sign-on bonus; skilled labor at $25.67/hr with opportunities for increases every 3 months up to 12 months.

Benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid holidays and vacation, and a technical incentive. Shifts include 1st, 2nd and 3rd with premiums for certain schedules; candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to follow instructions and work under

Qualifications

• Requires the ability to read and write and follow work orders and specific instructions.
• High School Diploma / GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Properly prepares cores to receive wiring
• Properly installs all individual parts including wires, slot winders, coil separators and topsticks
• Installs phase sheets or felts, thermocouples or RTD, rtps and taps
• Ensures proper material, assembly techniques and tolerances are being met
• Makes general decisions as to quality of products and adjustments
• Exercies good housekeeping in work area
• Observes good safety practices
• Performs other job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
