Qualifications

• Experience rewinding AC and DC electric motors.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple to moderately complex instructions.
• Ability to operate machinery and hoists and perform basic math.
• Familiarity with following safety procedures and operating standards.

Responsibilities

• Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment.
• Dismantle and/or strip damaged equipment, including media blasting.
• Inspect equipment for winding damage and electrical malfunctions.
• Document data on unit electrical characteristics and operating conditions.
• Prepare reusable parts for rewinding and inspect renewed parts for damage.
• Test rewound equipment and document results according to standards.
