Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to learn assembly drawings, measuring devices, and winding processes through structured training
• Strong attention to safety, quality, detail, and teamwork
• Interest in developing skills toward a future Winder role

Responsibilities

• Assist Winder Operators by preparing materials, tools, equipment, and work areas to help keep the winding process moving efficiently
• Learn the condenser bushing winding process through apprentice-style training alongside experienced Winders
• Support winding activities using winding machines, cranes, lifting devices, hand tools, winding templates, tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices
• Read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications with guidance from trained team members
• Communicate equipment, material, quality, or process concerns to the Winder Operator, supervisor, maintenance, engineering, or quality team as needed
• Participate in continuous training to build the skills needed to progress into a Winder role
• Work safely within a team environment and follow all safety, quality, and production requirements
• Operate a computer and learn specialized programs as needed to perform job functions
