Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of experience in manufacturing reading and interpreting assembly drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed assembly drawings.
• Willingness to learn and operate winding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Kampf-Stahlkontor and Menzel winding machines and overhead cranes to wind bushings to specification.
• Provide information to maintenance, engineering and quality assurance about winding equipment performance.
• Work within a team structure with minimal supervision.
• Receive continuous training on new equipment or processes in the condenser winding area.
• Use vacuum cleaners, hand tools, winding templates, tape measures and other measuring devices as needed to complete windings.
• Cross-train between condenser bushing winding machines.
• Operate a computer and learn specialized programs as needed to perform job functions.
• Stand and/or walk on hard surfaces for up to 10 hours per day.
• Regularly lift up to 35 pounds safely.
