Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA INC in Alamo, TN is seeking a Weekend OIP Bushing Winder on the 2nd shift. You will wind bushings to customer specs using specialized winding machines and tools, following assembly drawings and safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year in manufacturing with drawing interpretation. This role requires standing up to 10 hours, lifting up to 35 pounds, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret assembly drawings.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting with reading drawings is required.
• Ability to stand and work on hard surfaces for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Wind bushings using Kampf-Stahlkontor and Menzel winding machines and appropriate tooling.
• Use measuring devices to ensure parts meet customer specifications.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering and quality assurance as needed.
• Cross-train between condenser bushing winding machines and learn new equipment/processes.
