Job summary

Lyntris is a defense technology company delivering sensing-to-action solutions across the battlespace. We seek a Windchill Application Developer to develop, test, and maintain Windchill solutions for the US Navy, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of Windchill/ThingWorx Navigate experience, strong Java/J2EE skills, and holds a U.S. security clearance or can obtain one. Telework options are available with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Currently hold or able to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Windchill PLM & ThingWorx Navigate customization.
• Experience with Windchill v12+ and ThingWorx v9+.
• Strong programming skills in Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, JSON, and HTML5.
• Knowledge of Windchill System & Business Administration, including security configurations.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Evaluate business/technical requirements for Windchill or ThingWorx Navigate functionality and provide LOE for sprint planning.
• Design, develop, and deploy Windchill & ThingWorx Navigate solutions including actions, models, data cleansing utilities, and reports.
• Support integration projects between Windchill and other enterprise systems.
• Create and maintain Windchill & ThingWorx Navigate user interfaces.
• Conduct comprehensive testing (unit, integration, system).
• Debug and resolve complex defects and issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for Windchill customizations.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Windchill functionalities.
• Stay up-to-date with Windchill developments and industry best practices.
