Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Engineering Consultant 3 in the US to lead Windchill-based engineering initiatives, design evaluations, prototyping, and integration projects. You will run stakeholder workshops, develop technical specs, and optimize system performance while guiding testing and knowledge transfer across teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with potential relocation/travel. U.S. work authorization is required, and Infosys does not sponsor visas for this role.

Responsibilities

• Run stakeholder workshops and interviews to capture critical system and technical specifications.
• Contribute in design alternatives evaluation using advanced engineering tools, to achieve consensus on optimal approaches and create detailed design concepts for components and/ or systems.
• Leverage feedback from testing and user interactions, to develop and assess prototypes in ensure alignment with project goals.
• Develop specialized solution specifications for engineering projects and run advanced testing to ensure solutions meet technical and performance requirements.
• Execute prototyping efforts, applying expertise to model design concepts, and lead testing and feedback synthesis to refine prototypes.
• Run integration projects, solving complex technical challenges and enhance system functionality, through usage of engineering tools and methodologies.
• Optimize system performance through targeted tuning, improving efficiency and addressing reliability concerns.
• Facilitate training and knowledge transfer sessions, ensuring thorough understanding of engineering outcomes across teams.
