Job summary

ITC Infotech is seeking a PLM Test Execution and Automation Tester to build and run automated scripts validating Windchill PLM OOTB features such as PDMLink, Change Management, and Document Management. You will ensure baseline functionality and execute regression suites across patches and upgrades.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, maintaining automation stacks (Selenium/Playwright/Java/Python), and collaborating with Services teams to deliver quality outcomes in a fast-paced enterprise

Qualifications

• 2 to 5+ years in QA with a strong focus on test automation and enterprise software.
• PLM Knowledge: Solid understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and hands-on exposure to PTC Windchill OOTB features.
• Automation Tools: Experience with frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or Playwright.
• Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery and defect tracking software like Jira.
• Knowledge of quality processes and their implementation.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Good knowledge of PTC Product suites

Responsibilities

• You will execute one or more work streams and work with the corresponding Services teams for consulting and execution.
• You will receive work streams from team leadership and accomplish tasks with other project members.
• You will ensure your output is accurate and meet the defined quality.
• You will maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Java/Python-based testing stacks tailored for enterprise web applications.
• You will Validate OOTB Features: Test standard Windchill modules (PDMLink, Change Management, Document Management) to verify baseline search, lifecycle transitions, and data structures.
• You will Execute Regression Testing: Run automated regression suites during system patches, minor updates, or major out-of-the-box software upgrades.
• You will Execute Functional Testing: for changes due to Standardization.
• You will Manage Test Data: Create and maintain standard OOTB test datasets (parts, CAD documents, users, and security groups) required for repeatable test execution.
• You will provide Documentation based on test execution.
• You will Integrate with CI/CD: Connect automated test suites into continuous integration pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• You will Log and Track Defects: Document software bugs, analyze failures, and collaborate with administrators to resolve out-of-the-box configuration or performance issues.
