Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Configuration Management CAD Specialist to administer Windchill PLM, manage CAD data, and support integrations with Creo, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD. You will ensure data integrity, maintain BOMs, and drive standardization across engineering teams.

You will work with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and IT to keep product development workflows running smoothly, with occasional travel up to 10% in an office environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical experience in Engineering/Information Systems/CS.
• 3–7 years supporting CAD systems and Windchill in engineering environments.
• Experience with PLM administration, document control and configuration management.
• Solid understanding of product lifecycle management and engineering change processes.
• Experience with BOM management and product structure maintenance.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work independently with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer PTC Windchill PLM including document management, part structures, workflows and lifecycles.
• Manage CAD data with revision control, release processes, and data integrity.
• Support Windchill-CAD integrations (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Develop and improve CAD/PLM standards, templates, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot Windchill issues and provide user training.
• Coordinate change requests and release workflows.
• Develop and maintain BOMs and product structures.
• Perform data migration, validation, and cleanup for legacy/new data.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, IT to ensure compliance.
