Job summary

System One is hiring a Site Technician to apply electro-mechanical skills for wind turbine maintenance and repairs in Windfall, Indiana. The role includes diagnosing and repairing turbines and maintaining service records.

The position requires climbing wind towers, working in extreme conditions, and coordinating with on-site sub-contractors. A relocation package is offered to supported candidates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Wind, Solar, or BESS sectors.
• Current journeyman or master electrician license preferred.
• GE LOTO certification required/held.
• Unrestricted driver license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair wind turbines and document repairs and parts usage.
• Perform quality control inspections on repairs and maintenance by subcontractors.
• Execute predefined technical tasks for wind turbine service delivery on-site and remotely.
• Prepare concise reports on inspections to address deficiencies.
• Train and guide subcontractor personnel on-site.
• Support inventory control and spare parts management with the Site Supervisor.
