Your Impact:

Pearce is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician II with a commitment to excellence, a strong desire to succeed, and a willingness to learn new skills using established procedures, with the highest regard for health, safety, and environmental compliance. As a Field Service Wind Technician II, you will perform daily tasks such as cleaning, organizing, minor servicing, and repairs to wind turbine generators and related equipment and facilities. This position is 100% travel.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance of equipment (fueling, lubrication, etc.)
• Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements.
• Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete and maintain required documentation and records using computer-based service reporting tools.
• Use various torque and tension tools.
• Perform other daily work as directed by the supervisor with general supervision.

Core Experience

• Minimum of two years of wind maintenance experience.
• GWO Certification preferred.
• Ability to work within confined spaces, such as inside a wind turbine nacelle.
• Adherence to customer and company standards, including following project schedules.

Physical/Work Environment

At Pearce, safety is our top priority. Candidates must comply with OSHA/DOT standards.

• Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet.
• Maintain weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance.
• Lift and move equipment weighing more than 50 pounds.
• Work in indoor or outdoor environments under adverse weather conditions with pollen, dust, and grasses.
