Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in Renewables.
• Strong writing skills and documentation ability.
• Experience with CAD/FEA tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in mechanical areas and support fleet reliability.
• Investigate anomalies and failures of mechanical equipment.
• Assist inspections and analyses to identify root causes.
• Coordinate with external professionals and consultants.
• Create technical summaries documenting progress.
• Lead meetings with OEMs and service providers.
• Propose engineering studies to improve reliability.
• Evaluate design changes proposed by OEMs.
• Support operating fleet to ensure safe work environment and availability.
• Visit generating plants and suppliers as needed for program deployments.
