Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is hiring a Large Correctives Technician Associate to support the Supervisor in managing large corrective activities across wind assets. This full-time, permanent role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and cost-conscious operations at on-site locations.

The candidate will perform up-tower component replacements, help operate gear tools, and travel up to five weeks at a time with home rotations. CDL preferred; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience; at least 1 year in operations/maintenance of power generation facilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong safety mindset.
• Documentation and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operations and maintenance at wind farm site.
• Perform up-tower major component replacements on turbines from GE, Siemens, Vestas, Gamesa and Mitsubishi.
• Assist with transportation, setup and operation of up-tower gearbox tools.
• Maintain storage and handling of tools and equipment.
• Travel up to 5 weeks at a time with rotation home.
• Possess ability to obtain/maintain CDL if required by RWEA for mobilization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
