Job summary

NGC US in Fort Worth, Texas seeks an engineer to provide technical and engineering support for wind turbine and gearbox remanufacturing and field service activities. The role supports engineering, production, sales, and service teams to raise competency and service quality.

You will write procedures, design production tools, train technicians, and collaborate with HQ and field teams, with hands-on tasks and cross-functional communication as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background, preferably gearing related.
• Mandarin Chinese fluency strongly preferred.
• Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Technical knowledge of power transmission products and project management.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering, production, sales, and service teams.
• Write and review process procedures for gearbox activities including disassembly, assembly, and testing.
• Write and review inspection reports for wind turbines and gearboxes.
• Design tools for production and field service to industry standards.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve process capability.
• Use engineering analysis to respond to issues and train technicians.
• Communicate with US and China engineering and service teams.
• Possibly serve as a project team member on implementations.
