Job summary

Nordex seeks an on-site engineering professional to oversee supplier processes, ensure compliance with design specs, and provide rapid technical support for gearbox manufacturing, assembly, and testing. You will work with SQA engineers to implement DFMEA, PFMEA, and GR&R analyses, and drive root-cause resolution for defects during production.

With a background in mechanical engineering and Mandarin-English proficiency, you’ll participate in APQP4 Wind activities and support new gearbox launches,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical Engineering, master’s preferred.
• Native Mandarin with professional English communication.
• 3+ years in engineering, manufacturing process or quality in wind power.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with resident SQA engineers to monitor supplier processes and ensure products meet Nordex specs.
• Provide on-site technical support and resolve manufacturing and quality issues at suppliers’ facilities.
• Implement APQP4 Wind, participate in DFMEA, PFMEA, CPK verification, and GR&R analysis.
• Troubleshoot process faults and test defects, identify root causes and optimize production.
• Advise on new gearbox launches, prototype manufacturing, and ramp-up for mass production quality.
• Assist qualification review and homologation of new gearbox models and suppliers.
