Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Welder Helper to support certified welders and assist with fabrication of pipes and structural components for the wind turbine industry.

Qualification includes basic welding knowledge, ability to read a tape measure, and teamwork. This on-site role offers a 6p-6a rotating shift with a $20-$22/hr pay and benefits while developing you in a growing manufacturing field.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or construction preferred.
• Basic understanding of welding and metal fabrication, and ability to read a tape measure and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Know your way around tool benches and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain materials and equipment for certified welders and assist with fabrication and assembly.
• Lead by example in safety, quality, and initiative on each project.
• Maintain safety standards, keep a clean workspace, and complete daily progress reports.
