Job summary

NOV is seeking an experienced welder to prepare wind tower sections for fabrication, set up, and operate a sub-arc welder. You will weld, grind, and repair sections, ensuring defects are fixed before inspection.

The role requires attention to detail, AWS welding knowledge, and the ability to read measurements in multiple units. You will work primarily in a production setting with emphasis on safety and quality."

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and safety-focused workmanship.
• Knowledge of welding properties for various metals and alloys.
• Ability to read US customary and metric measurements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare wind tower sections for fabrication and set up/operate the sub-arc welder.
• Weld, grind, and repair wind tower sections and fix seaming defects as directed.
• Maintain and be accountable for tools and equipment.
• Ensure timely, efficient work delivering a quality product without defects.
• Follow safety policies and participate in department safety practices.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by leadership.
