Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items weighing 1 to 60 pounds.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Experience with maintenance and electronic testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wind turbines and associated wind plant equipment.
• Read schematics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with OEM and/or Pattern Energy practices.
• Maintain tools in good working order and well organized.

Skills

Advanced computer skills

Ability to climb 80+ meter towers

Knowledge of heavy equipment

Education

One year college or technical school certificate or equivalent
