Job summary

NextEra Energy, in Monin, IN, seeks a Wind Technician at all levels to ensure safe, reliable operation of wind farm equipment. You will perform field maintenance, diagnostics, and contribute to long-term reliability and profitability.

Responsibilities include safety policy adherence, Lean Six Sigma participation, and mentoring other technicians. Competitive pay, benefits, and potential relocation support are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED is required.
• Experience: 0+ years.
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL) required.
• Ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet.
• Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval may be required.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular preventative maintenance and repair on wind turbine power generation equipment.
• Completes electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Maintains all company equipment, facilities and tooling.
• Applies understanding of technical and process functions.
• Manages own training schedules and meets training requirements.
• Able to meet attendance requirements.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
