Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Wind Technician to operate and maintain turbines at the Turkey Track Wind Energy Center in Blackwell, TX. You will perform routine mechanical and electrical tasks, climb towers daily, and ensure safety protocols.

The role requires outdoor work in varied weather, lifting up to 45 kg, and lifting to heights above 80 meters. The position offers a base pay range of $29.49–$49.97 per hour with potential bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and

Qualifications

One year technical experience or related education.
Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and at heights.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on GE wind turbines and related equipment.
Climb wind turbine towers daily, with required safety gear, to inspect or repair.
Understand electrical and mechanical functions of turbine components.
Troubleshoot faults and replace components as needed.
Maintain tools, facilities and a clean, safe work environment.
Work a 40 hour week with possible overtime during peak periods.
