Vestas American Wind Technology is seeking a technician to join our wind energy operations. You will act as a safety champion, participate in safety trainings, and work with the team to ensure safe and efficient operations across multiple sites.

You will use tools like SAP and the Toolkit to navigate data, manage work orders, and contribute to continuous improvement. Expect travel and a flexible schedule to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a safety champion by intervening when unsafe acts are practiced; promote safe behavior and assist in investigations.
• Complete all safety training; assist junior technicians as needed.
• Use all PPE per Work Instructions and QSE; report discrepancies.
• Support continuous improvement and development of best practices.
• Build partnerships and refer complex issues to higher level staff while maintaining customer focus.
