Job summary

NextEra Energy Operating Services, LLC in Graham, Texas seeks a Wind Technician to maintain and repair wind turbines and related equipment. You will interpret fault reports, monitor turbine performance, and support safety and environmental reporting.

The role requires 3+ years in a technical field or a technical certificate/degree, ability to climb turbines up to 300 feet, and a valid non-CDL driver's license. On-site position with strong safety expectations.

Qualifications

• High School/GED is required.
• 3+ years in a technical field or completion of a technical certificate/degree program.
• Ability to climb wind turbines up to 300 feet.
• Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval.
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL).

Responsibilities

• Performs regular preventative maintenance and repair on wind turbine power generation equipment.
• Completes electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Maintains all company supplied equipment, facilities, and tooling.
• Provides oversight to other personnel and acts as a Safety Mentor.
• Demonstrates attendance requirements and performs other duties as assigned.
