GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Wind Sourcing Intern in Schenectady, New York for May/June 2027 through August 2027.

You will support procurement activities across supplier onboarding, should-cost modeling, and process improvements with lean and AI-assisted analysis. You'll work with the Operations team to pursue savings, evaluate contracts, and develop data-driven insights to compare terms across multiple vendors.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program.
• Majors listed include aerospace, electrical, chemical, mechanical, materials, and supply chain.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing processes to improve customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity.
• Collaborate with Operations to identify improvement opportunities and implement actions.
• Lead cross-functional or external process improvements using lean tools.
• Enhance use of AI to analyze data and improve contract tracking.
• Compare terms and conditions to evaluate negotiations with multiple suppliers.
• Manage vendor onboarding for crane, manpower, and logistics vendors.
• Develop 'should-cost' models using historic spend and inflation data.
