Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a motivated Sourcing Intern to support sourcing, procurement, supplier engagement, analytics, and process improvement activities. This internship is designed for college Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors exploring early career experience in supply chain, sourcing, operations, business analytics, engineering, or related fields within the energy industry.

• enrolled in accredited college/university as Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior
• Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Demonstrated academic achievement and interest in building business, sourcing, or supply chain experience
• Ability to work in a team environment, communicate clearly, and follow through on commitments

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing projects related to supplier management, data analysis, process improvement, sustainability, and operational execution
• Assist with supplier research, spend analysis, purchase order review, savings tracking, and sourcing performance reporting
• Learn and apply sourcing tools, dashboards, and standard work to help teams make informed business decisions
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Quality, Legal, and other business partners as needed
• Help prepare presentations, trackers, summaries, and project updates for team meetings and leadership reviews
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to simplify work, improve data quality, and strengthen process discipline
• Participate in team meetings, intern learning experiences, development activities, and networking opportunities
