Invenergy, a leading North American energy developer, seeks an Associate in Renewable Development to support utility-scale wind and solar projects across the United States. You will advance developments, conduct market assessments, and coordinate permits and interconnections.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in renewable energy, with strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Travel and regional work in the U.S. will be expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years in renewable/clean energy or related field.
• Understanding of the development process for clean energy projects.
• Strong organizational, networking, leadership, time management, and accounting skills.
• Strong public speaking and concise report writing abilities.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Advance wind or solar project developments across the United States region.
• Identify development prospects, including market assessments and site reconnaissance.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies and manage resource assessment processes.
• Secure site control through leases, easements, and landowner agreements.
• Evaluate and track power market trends; coordinate landowner communication.
• Lead permit acquisition and represent Invenergy with stakeholders.
• Initiate and manage interconnection activities; assist project budgeting and scheduling.
• Manage tasks within budgets and schedules with internal/external support.
