Job summary

Invenergy LLC, a leading developer of wind, solar, and other energy infrastructure, seeks an Associate, Renewable Development to advance utility-scale projects across the United States. The role supports the full development lifecycle—from market assessment to land control and permitting—and requires collaboration with landowners, officials, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and at least four years in renewables, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the development process for clean and renewable energy projects.
• Excellent organizational, networking, leadership, time management and accounting skills.
• Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Advance wind or solar energy project developments within the United States.
• Identify development prospects and conduct market assessments.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies and manage resource assessments.
• Secure land for development including leases and easements.
• Coordinate landowner communication and permit processes.
• Represent Invenergy LLC with customers, landowners and officials.
• Initiate and manage interconnection activities and project budgeting/scheduling.
