Job summary

Invenergy LLC, based in Denver, seeks a Senior Associate, Development to advance utility-scale wind and other energy projects across the United States. You will identify prospects, secure site control, coordinate permits, negotiate leases, and manage interconnection and budgeting tasks in a fast‑paced development environment.

The role requires a BS/BA, 3–5 years in renewables, travel up to 50%, and strong skills in leadership, communication and reporting. Hybrid work schedule offered.

Qualifications

• A BS or BA from an accredited college program.
• 3-5 years’ work experience in the renewable and clean energy industry.
• Denver-based role with 25-50% travel.
• Experience negotiating leases/easements and securing site control.

Responsibilities

• Advance existing wind or solar energy project developments within the region.
• Identify development prospects, including market assessments, fatal flaw identification and site reconnaissance.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies and manage resource assessment processes.
• Secure site control through leases, easements, and landowner agreements.
• Evaluate and track power market trends.
• Coordinate landowner communication efforts.
• Lead permitting efforts at local, state and federal levels.
• Represent Invenergy LLC with customers, landowners, officials and stakeholders.
• Initiate and manage generation interconnection activities.
• Assist project budgeting and scheduling.
• Manage tasks according to budgets and schedules, coordinating internal/external support.
