Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Wind Site Technician III to ensure reliable turbine operation at our Mojave wind site. You will diagnose and repair turbines, perform safety inspections, and work with a team to optimize performance while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years of wind experience with heavy equipment and cranes, hold a TBC Level 300 or be willing to obtain it, and can read and speak English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years wind experience including heavy equipment and crane exposure.
• Task Based Certification (TBC) Level 300 or willingness to obtain.
• Must be able to speak/read English; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain wind turbines with your team to keep communities powered.
• Adhere to safety protocols, perform safety inspections, and cultivate a safety culture.
• Collaborate with your team to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document work thoroughly and propose improvements to processes.
• Support specialty projects (e.g., crane work, CIM) and mentor junior technicians.
