Vestas in the United States is seeking a Wind Site Technician to keep turbines running through maintenance, troubleshooting, and system fixes. Training is provided, including GWO Safety & Technical Training, PPE, and certification paths. The base pay range is $28.00 - $33.43/hr with potential for additional variable compensation.
Pay is determined by experience and qualifications. We also offer a $2,500 USD sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
Competenze
- Wind Technician certificate with 6 months experience, or 1 year wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
- Able to read and follow instructions in English; valid driver’s license; eligible to work in the U.S.
- Physically fit for heights and varied conditions, safety-focused and team-oriented.
Mansioni
- Maintain and repair wind turbines with the team to keep communities powered.
- Adhere to safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
- Collaborate with the team to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
- Document work and improve operational processes.
- Time-code all work activities for tracking duration and efficiency.
