Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Wind Site Technician to ensure smooth operation of wind turbines, handling maintenance, troubleshooting, and system issues. You will contribute to clean, reliable energy for local communities and work across wind, electrical, mechanical, or heavy machinery backgrounds.

You will join a safety-forward team with access to comprehensive training programs such as GWO Safety & Technical Training, PPE, and required certifications, while benefiting from relocation and sign-on

Qualifications

• Wind Technician certificate or wind turbine experience or 2 years in mechanical/electrical fields.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to responsibilities.
• Safety-conscious with commitment to best practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbines with the team to keep communities powered.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
• Collaborate with the team to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document work and continuously improve operational processes.
• Accurately time code all work activities for tracking duration and progress.
