Job summary

Mortenson is currently seeking a laborer for the Heritage Prairie Wind Project in Reddick, IL. The role involves preparation, handling, and supplying materials for on-site use by other crafts teams.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, erecting scaffolding, leveling ground, tending mortar and grout, moving materials between wheelbarrows and buckets, and general site cleanup. Construction experience is preferred; safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding (5X7X16) and staging
• Level ground for scaffolding
• Tend mortar and grout
• Lift, unload, move, set, and shovel mortar and grout between wheelbarrows and buckets
• General cleanup and clearing of debris, including sweeping, cleaning, washing, and unloading or burning debris
• Place, push, pull, and shovel concrete
• Vibrate concrete
• Effectively work with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• All other duties as assigned
