Mortenson Construction is seeking a laborer for our Heritage Prairie Wind Project in Reddick, IL. The role focuses on preparing, handling, and supplying materials for other crafts, with duties including loading, scaffolding, and concrete work.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction preferred.
• Ability to work with power/non-powered tools and equipment listed.
• Strong teamwork, positive attitude, and customer-service mindset.
• Repetitive hand/arm/leg movements.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Position may evolve without notice.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and staging.
• Level ground for scaffolding.
• Tend mortar and grout.
• Move mortar and grout between wheelbarrows and buckets.
• General cleanup and debris removal.
• Place, push, pull, and shovel concrete.
• Vibrate concrete.
• Build positive relations across diverse teams.
• All other duties as assigned.
